Mercury and Air Toxics: Threats to Public Health Fact Sheet

Mercury and other air toxics are some of the most hazardous air pollutants and pose a threat to public health. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been working on the Mercury and Air Toxics Standard (MATS), the first ever national regulation of toxic air emissions.
