Walk Away From Coal - 9/24: A Day to Move Beyond Fossil Fuels
As part of Moving Planet, an international day of climate action, join us in a protest against the Portland Generating Station. This coal plant, which sits on the Delaware River, is one of the oldest and dirties coal plants in the county. Haven’t heard of it? Saturday September 24th is an international day to move beyond fossil fuels. Clean Air Council is teaming up with local residents, Greenpeace, The Sierra Club, Delaware River Keeper, Clean Water Action and more to “Walk Away From Coal."
