AIRnow.gov - A site dedicated to reporting national and local air quality based on the Air Quality Index (AQI) which is a color-coded system for communicating to the public dangerous levels of air pollutants such as Ozone and Particulate Matter. Also, includes learning centers for adults, teachers and children.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - General asthma and environmental information for parents, community organizations and health professionals.
NoAttacks.org - an EPA and AdCouncil sponsored website for patients and families dealing with asthma.
American Lung Association - Information about asthma and other lung conditions. Also has information about local resources regarding lung health, quitting smoking, and news.
American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology - A medical organization devoted to allergies and immunology. They have a great selection of information and resources for patients, families and children.
Pollen.com - A free website site dedicated to pollen counts around the country. You can view pollen counts in your area, view by specific pollen-types, and create a personalized pollen diary to help you identify which pollens are triggers for you. You can also receive email or mobile notifications when dangerous amounts of pollen are present in your area.
