A Summer Reception at The Library Company of Philadelphia

On July 29, Clean Air Council members were honored with a private cocktail reception and special insider tour of the nation’s oldest cultural institution, The Library Company of Philadelphia.

The evening was made special when the Council awarded Pennsylvania State Representative Babette Josephs with its 2007 Environmental Leadership Award. The Award is presented to an individual who has shown exemplary service to the environment and a commitment to the right of everyone to breathe clean air.

An Evening at the Morris Arboretum

July 2006 Clean Air Council hosted An Evening at the Morris Arboretum. The Arboretum was the perfect host for an event designed to thank our members for their support and remind them of the natural beauty our region has to offer.

The balmy summer evening included food, drink, and music by classical guitarist Allen Krantz. Council members were taken on private guided tours of the Arboretum to learn the history behind one of Philadelphia's most extraordinary institutions.
