FLAME RETARDANT TOXIN SEEN IN 100 PERCENT OF NORTHWEST BREAST MILK SAMPLES

Toxins in flame retardants known as PBDEs -- polybrominated diphenyl ethers -- showed up in 100 percent of nursing mothers tested in Oregon, Washington, Montana and British Columbia, the Seattle-based Northwest Environment Watch said Tuesday.
